Chapter II. Dear Ex

I craved for what my imagination have fed me before I met you.
– I blame Hollywood and Disney movies for that.

You then came in like a storm on a dry summer night, delivering the promise of goodness and everlasting hope. Yet when you left, you took all my nights away too.

Trapped.

Desperate to break free.

—————————————–

Maybe it was a figment of my imagination, maybe not.

I am scarred by your words and your actions, but I do not regret the time we spent together.

For all the good times we had; it was one of the best times of my life.

Thank you nonetheless, for I’ll not be who I am today without you.

This chapter is for you
